Willie was recruited at his graduation - via messenger: "Extremely fun"
A fascination with problem solving made Willie Langenberg, 23, apply to Stockholm University and study mathematical statistics.

On graduation day, his mother posted a picture on Facebook.

"Mattias (Andersson, CEO here at MTEK) got in touch on messenger and offered me a job right away," says Willie about the recruitment.

“At the time, I really just wanted a job. But this was extra interesting because it was a job at home in Hälsingland and exactly what I had studied for".

Since summer of 2021 he is a statistician here at MTEK.

"I am involved in a few different areas, but I work a lot with development and with the database. It's extremely fun, you gladly work overtime.” Willie says with a smile.

It's a lot about practical problem solving - exactly what got Willie excited about statistics in the first place.

"Getting to work with these colleagues is super great. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed and even when it's stressful and there's a lot to do, everyone's happy. You feel comfortable here.”

Although Willie mainly works at the head office in Alfta, he has also been involved in installation at customers' premises.

“MBrain has so many different functionalities. The first impact I saw was how we were able to clean up all paper and make work orders and all other information digital. Everyone has access to everything wherever they are and exactly when they need it.”

Willie would like to move more towards the data analysis part and the dream in the future is:

"Perhaps become a group leader in data analysis and get involved even more with statistics. It's fun to have goals, but when you achieve them is not that important,” Willie says with a laugh.
