Isa went straight from school to MTEK - “Much more fun than I thought”

It must be said straight away: Isa Bomark, 19, didn't really want to go to MTEK.

“I did definitely not want to be a programmer. It seemed like such a boring job.”

At the time Isa had just finished the technical program at Voxgym. As a student there, you have some education a spent with us at MTEK.

“The programming we did at school was way too easy. I never thought I would find it stimulating.”

School has always been easy for Isa. As a result of her quick learning abilities, she even skipped a class.

“I understand everything that is logic right away. Maybe that's why I like fixing cars in my spare time. That´s logic. It started with me fixing my own A-tractor and after that my car. It happens that I fix other people's cars too.”

Although the teachers pushed Isa to apply for an internship MTEK via Tekniksprånget, she did not want to. But on the last day open for application, she still applied.

“I had no other job and I thought; if I find something else, I can always drop out of MTEK".

She has not regretted applying for the internship.

“It was extremely different. It was complex and challenges make me thrive. Now I'm never bored at work," Isa says. She got a permanent job immediately after the internship.

“MTEK is a great environment and the people are super. We solve challenges together. Everyone helps out and even if I am the youngest person, experienced and older people come to me and ask for advice. It is so prestige-less.”

Lately, Isa has been working a lot with automated updates in MBrain.

"If something is made in one part of the factory, everyone should be able to keep track of it immediately. It should be easy to get an overview, without a lot of whiteboards and stuff. By having the floor, the office, the warehouse and everyone else get the same information at the same time, you save a lot of time. It will be effective.”

The coolest thing about MBrain is:
Knowing that it is an important tool for many companies to be able to drive their business forward and develop in a way that would not have been possible otherwise.
