That's how Jens was recruited to MTEK - "You are here to grow "

Soccer has been a large part of Jens Bergius, 43, life. After growing up waited a semi-professional career as the first goalkeeper in Östersunds FK, a fast-climbing team in the league systems.

"But in 2010 my injuries put an end to the career and I chose to move back home to Edsbyn," Jens says.

He got a job at the local manufacturer of office furniture, and life went on, until one day late in the summer of 2021.

“A former colleague worked at MTEK. He told me they needed a project manager. I knew nothing about MTEK. Well, I´ve heard the name, but nothing more than that," Jens says.

He was persuaded to change jobs. And he has not regretted it.

“The social and creative atmosphere struck me immediately when I stepped in the doors of MTEK. You are here to grow and the colleagues are extremely motivated."

MBrain was also new to Jens.

“Everyone should have this, was my first thought. I have worked a lot with optimization before, but the tools were missing.”

“Had I had access to MBrain when I was working on the floor, I would have been able to run the optimization process in real time. The idea behind the system is absolutely right, it is often enough for the operator to just push a button while a lot of routine tasks are automated."

As technical project manager, Jens is responsible for the entire installation process until MBrain is up and running at the customer.

"We are growing rapidly and the number of customers are increasing significantly. It's a great experience to be a part of this journey. Not many people have the privilege of looking forward to their job every day. But that's how it is to work at MTEK."
