The home comer Christian was surprised by MTEK - “Does it really exist here?”
After long professional life in Stockholm within the IT industry, Christian Höglund was in 2015 a project manager at Ericsson in Kista, when a wave of layoffs swept over the company.

“We felt a desire to go home to Hälsingland and were looking for a different quality of life and a safe environment where our children could grow up." Christian says.

The family settled in the 280 square meter Komministergården in Ovanåker and Christian got a job as a project manager at an IT consultant company.

"One day I saw an ad where a company I knew nothing about was looking for a project manager. I started to read and was really surprised. How can such a cool high tech company be here and not in Kista?" says Christian, who contacted us at MTEK.

Today he has been at MTEK for about 1,5 years but have now moved with his family down to Skåne. 

“It felt just right from the very start. The competence collected here is fascinating. We are really doing this together.”

Although MBrain was new to Christian, he immediately saw the benefits of it for the customers.

"It's about everything from clear work instructions and statistics to optimization and traceability. It's an awesome tool - which with small adjustments can be used by any manufacturing industry. There are modules to fit everyone.”

In addition to the continuous development that the employees make, the customers also help.

"New needs are being discovered while we make installations for a new customer. That is a key in improvement work. We learn from the customers - and they make MBrain even better.”
