Creating and keeping jobs locally; that is one of the most important driving forces for systemdeveloper Jonas Löf, 38.

“With MBrain, every person in the industry can focus on their own task, nothing else. In the long run, we create a system that makes the relatively high-wage country Sweden competitive. If we minimize waste and make factories resource efficient, then we can also keep the manufacturing industry locally where it is today," Jonas says.

He began his career on the factory floor at a local window manufacturer. A friend asked Jonas to go with him to the United States, where the plan was to study.

“I studied graphic design in Santa Monica for a year. It was so interesting, so I decided to apply for a two-year vocational education in graphic design in Nyköping, back in Sweden"

The career path continued with four years of web development in Stockholm, before the family wanted to return home to Hälsingland. Jonas got a job as a web communicator for the municipality.

"Then I read somewhere about MTEK, and it sounded incredibly exciting. A supercool company in little Alfta. I sent in a spontaneous application.”

In the fall of 2019, Jonas was hired.

"It's great to contribute in a big perspective. What we do here is real and important. With MBrain, we make it easier for all the millions of people working in the industry sector. That's pretty cool.”

In recent years, we at MTEK have hired many new colleagues. Jonas plays an important role there, as he is a supervisor for interns.

"We who have been here longer can contribute to supporting the new ones. And it's great fun. Everyone is friendly and cares about each other. Everyone wants to contribute to making progress for all of us!”

The coolest thing about MBrain is:
Withour a doubt the variety of functions. I am fascinated every time I see someone demonstrate our system. MBrain has become an incredibly well-stocked toolbox where customers can start simply at the top level and then develop it more and more as they become more “handy”.
